3.7 ONE-TOU CH BUTTONS

and hold ing the desire d One-To uch button.

3. 8 KE YSWITCH AR MING

A key can be used to arm an d disarm your system using two forms of keyswitches. With a Maintained Keyswitch,

place the key in the “O N” position to ar m your system, and place the key in the “O FF” position to disarm you r

system. With a Momentary Keyswitch, pla ce the ke y in the “ON” po sition br iefly then place it back in the “ OFF”

position to arm the system. Repeat this process to disarm with a Momentary Keyswitch.

3.9 AUTO-ARMING

If e nabled by your Installer, you can set the time that an area will arm itse lf automa tically.

3.9.1 TIM ED A UTO-ARMING

3.9.2 NO MOVEM EN T AUTO-ARMING

Your system can be p rogrammed to send a rep ort to your Central Mo nitoring Station a nd/or arm the system if there

is no activity in the a rea during a specified p eriod of time. Your in stalle r can set No Movement Au to -Armin g to

function in e ither Re gular o r Stay arming mod e.

4.0 DISARMING

Wh en your system is disarmed, it dea ctivates any alarms in p rogress, and it d eactivates the zones so the al arm wi ll

not be trig gered i f zones are br eached.

4.1 ENTRY DELAY TIMER

Your installer will program de si gnated entry points ( i.e . the front doo r) with an Entry Delay Timer. This dela y gives

you time to enter th e armed premises an d enter your code to disarm your system before the alarm is trigge red.

How do I set the Auto-Arming timer?

1) E nte r yo ur [

ACCESS CODE].

2) P ress the [0] bu tton.

3) P ress the [MEM] button.

4) If you have access to mo re than one area, press the area’s number, or use

the [S

S ] and [T

T] buttons and press the [

ACC] button when the area you want

to program a ppears o n the screen.

5) E nter the time you want the a rea to b e armed according to the 24-hou r clock

(i.e. 9 a.m. i s 09:00 a nd 9 p.m. is 2 1:00).

6) P ress the [ENTER] button to save and e xit.
