• Your installer can program the output to deactivate either manually or follow a time r. If programmed to be deactivated

manually, the output will remain activated until you deactiva te it. If programmed to follow a timer, the output will

deactivate after the timer has elapsed.

14.4 W HEN USIN G YOUR INTOUCH...

• In some cases, your telephone’s tone may not be powerful enough to interrupt the InTouch’s voice prompt. If this is the

case, simply wait for the InTouch’s voice prompt to finish before entering your actio n.

• If your Digiplex Security System and InTouch share the same telephone number, you may be interrupted at times when

using your InTouch.

15.0 TELEPHONE BUTTON FEATURES

Clear = [*]

If you have made an error, press the [*] button on your telep hone to clear the error an d then re-en ter the

information.

Activate/Deactivate InTouch Output = [#] , [0]

To activate or d eactivate the InTouch’s output, p ress the [#] button a nd then the [0] bu tton on your tele phone.

Hang Up = [#] , [9]

Wh en you wish to hang up , p ress the [#] button and then the [9] button to imme diately hang up. The InTouch wi ll

con fir m the hang up with “Good -bye”.

If the hang-up feature is not used and if no action is performed after 2 minutes, the InTouch

will hang up automatically.

16.0 INTOUCH EXAMPLE

Nel so n h as a Digiplex Security S ystem and an InTouch hooked up at ho me. His secur ity syste m has two areas.

Both a reas are presently ar med and the InTo uch’s output, which is hooked up to h is garage do or opener, is

deactivated. Nelson is on his way home and wishes to disarm both a reas and open h is gar age door. Nelson

performs the following:

Nelson first dia ls the te lephone nu mber of the li ne to which the InTouch is connected to.

When the InTouch picks up, it will prompt Nelson with the following:

“Please enter your code .”

Nelson enter s his Use r A ccess Code.

The InTo uch then promp ts Ne lso n with the followin g:

“Area 1 Armed”

“Area 2 Armed”

“Output is Deactivated”

“To modify, e nter Area number ”

Nelson pre sses the [1] key on h is tele phone to disarm Area 1.

Your User Acce ss Code must also have access to the areas to which the InTouch is assigned

to.
